Well, it is that time of the year again. Out with the old 2009 Seniors and in with the new 2010's! We have posted the session brochure online which you can get by clicking HERE. The bunnies will be here march 20th-28th. This years theme is
Country Lane and will feature a white picket fence, lots of green and flowers,
stepping stones, and other fun country lane things. Don't tell the kids, but in addition
to the real bunnies, we will have great looking fakes for those kids too afraid of the real
ones in their lap! The session fee is lowered this year for our own version of the recovery
package. The cost is $54 plus sales tax and includes an 11x14 composite with one large
image and up to 3 more images. This is a sample from last year!

Well, our Bennie's Bored special is getting lots of calls. The only problem is, I m now out of comission for several days. It seems as though kidney stones are very painful and nothing is more boring than spending 7-8 hours in the emergency room in severe pain (even the second round of morphine didn't seem to help much.) The stones are gone, but not the pain. Apparently, I tensed up so much, I pulled lots of muscles in my back. So, if you call the studio and can't get anyone please understand and hopefully by Tuesday or Wednesday I can make it back into the office. I tried for a little while today, but no luck.
Wow, here it is January 9th already. We took a break and closed the studio between Christmas and January 5th to recharge the batteries from a super Christmas season. I hope everyone had a great Holiday with family and friends.
I am planning many new and fun events for this year. The first being, Bennie's Bored. After running non-stop for all of the fall and taking 10 days off at Christmas, I am finding there just isn't enough to do these days. January and February are always time to plan, reorganize, and update the studio. That is a great thing to do, but it doesn't include much time behind the camera. So, following in a good friend in Arkansas's footsteps, we are doing a fun promotion. Bennie's Bored is simple, a free 30 minute session, you can use anything we have in the studio. Any prop, background, or piece of clothing we have. The only catch is YOU are the creative genius! Have you ever had an idea for a portrait that you wanted to try but was afraid to try because of the cost? Now is the time. Of course Santa will be here in November and a few other things will happen as we complete the schedule. When I post the dates, I will also post all the pricing for these events so you can plan for the ones you like the best!

As our government prepares to bailout our financial system, we thought we would try to help families with their fall family photos and Christmas presents. Book your appointment for family photos with Bennie for the month of October and you will pay no session fee. All you do is make a $50 order deposit when you book your session. That $50 will apply to your order! In addition to no session fee, we are offering 20% off family or childrens orders (just not high school seniors) when those orders are placed by November 15th.
Halloween is always a special time for the studio - we love seeing the children in their costumes. We will be setup from 1:00pm til 5:30 on Halloween at my home in Horn Lake for Halloween photos. Santa is coming November 6,7,and 8th. Our Santa sessions will last 20 minutes on our set created especially for this year. With reds, creams, and golds any outfit you choose will look great. Keep a watch on the blog for sample photos in the coming weeks. The session is $75 and includes a custom designed for you unique folio. With covers in a red silk or black leatherette, you will love displaying them as part of you Christmas decorations. We also have several different styles and designs for Christmas cards. From tradition folding cards with your photos printed on the card, to postcard style there is certainly a design that reflects your families Holiday spirit.
